what have i learned today?
i need to cheer up. what makes me happy? these five minutes right now :) i usually blog right before i go to bed, when my day is over. i think the initial reasoning was so i could pick the best thing i had learned from each day and put it down, but it leaves me writing when i am tired. mondays i get off at 5, which means i get to be home now. tuesdays i have off, which leaves me with the prospect of a day to myself tomorrow. this is what we all live for. the very end of the last day of school. the minute after you clock out at work. time you aren't selling to someone else. it is a pretty novel idea, selling your time to someone else for money. every day you get more of it anyways.
what else have i learned?
i learned yesterday that a year or two without playing has turned me into a better golfer. i did hit two balls into the water, but thats because i was trying to clear this pond with my three wood :D i almost skipped the second one all the way across. but i had to go for it. it was the last hole, and i had a great drive, and it was like 220 across the water. i had to go for it, even though it would have taken a good shot (for me) to make it across. i hadn't lost any balls yet, and playing golf without losing a ball or two is like going to a casino without gambling.

what have i learned today?
apparently there are a lot of single people in seattle, and none of them are meeting anyone, or really looking, just like me. i'm still trying to figure out out exactly what this means to me. so far, i'm looking at it as progress, because people aren't just following tradition and now they are trying to cope with the new problems that have sprung up. maybe single men are actually boycotting dating because women are acting like morons. maybe we are actually showing some spine and telling our dick to go screw itself.
